Super(bowl) Blessing

The boys were blessed Sunday, February 7. Tyler did a great job. I can't imagine the pressure of blessing your first baby and he had a double go at it! I am proud of him and even though he was a bit flustered, his blessings were unique and genuine for each baby and the spirit was felt by all.

After church we had a great dinner at Noni and Papa's house and watched the Superbowl. I can honestly say I did not watch one full play. I was so tired, I would fall asleep immediately after sitting down. But we were all Saints fans so apparently everyone had a great time.

The boys are now just over two months old. For their two month check up Benjamin weighed in at 11 pounds 10 ounces and about 23 and 1/4 inches while Wilson weighed in at 11 pounds, 6 ounces and 23 and 3/8 inches. I get all sorts of strange feelings about their growth. I want to watch them grow up but it tugs at my heartstrings to think of them any bigger. Growing up entails so many trials and hardships and I want them to stay sweet and safe with me forever. I want them to always want their Momma when they are sad. But I need to remember to be still and take the time to enjoy each little moment. Oh how I love these little boys!

Love the face Wils...

Thanks for the outfits Noni!

And thank you everyone who took the time to come! We appreciate your love and support!

Meg thanks for posting this! We like to feel like we were there even though we weren't... tell Ty we are proud of him! And give your babies a huge hug from us!

What a great day for you. Those babies are so cute and I can't believe how big they are getting. I guess that comes from having children that are small and slow growing.
I love your haircut also. You look great!

Congratulations! What a sweet family you all make. I'm so glad they're doing so well. You guys definitely have your plate full with two little boys, but from my experience with one, there's no better way you could spend the time you devote to them.
